What is an Application Service Provider?
Abbreviated as ASP, a third-party entity that manages and distributes software-based services and solutions to customers across a wide area network from a central data center. In essence, ASPs are a way for companies to outsource some or almost all aspects of their information technology needs.
Or, more simply put, its a service whereby you can rent an application that uses your browser as a front end. This removes the need to purchase expensive solutions and the infrasctructure to support that solution. All your users need are zero cost browsers.
Back Office provides low cost, hosted applications. All you pay is an initial administration, setup and support charge then simply pay a small amount per month for as long as you require the application. All the administration, from database backups to application support, is covered in that charge. Additional services are available and are individually priced where applicable.
Back Office currently has two pre-written totally customisable applications that are ready to go and we are currently working on some one-off application development for specific customers.
